Guido BaldiniBorn and bred in South Brooklyn, the streets were his canvas long before he was putting the streets on his canvas. Alot of his paintings depict the area he grew up in as the wave of gentrification covers the finer details of the neighborhood he remembers and loves. A graduate of Music and Art High School, and Rhode Island School of Design, his influences stretch from Aztec art, to Psychedelic art of the 60’s, his own grafitti career, as well as the Dutch Masters, underground comic book art, Pop Art and Impressionism. Upon graduation, Adam founded
the artist collective Urban Folk Art© Studios. In the late 90’s he apprenticed in tattooing and is now founder and co-owner of Brooklyn Tattoo© and Head Curator of the adjacent Urban Folk Art© Gallery where he tattoos as well as continues to tattoo, paint, printmake, make comics, paint murals, as well as work on an assortment of public and private art projects.
